Children's Sculpture Creation Activity & Exhibit

The Adams Public Library System is sponsoring a hands-on Sculpture Creation Activity. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to create their own sculpture! Everything is provided, the event is offered free of charge. Creations will be on display from June 7th-29th.

Sculpture Installation

Many congregate downtown to watch installation for a sneak peek at the new sculptures. Installation begins Friday, June 7 and continues on Saturday morning.

Art contest and sale of Downtown Decatur landscapes. Participating contestants can paint up to two canvases to be judged and sold that day. This contest is open to exhibiting artists and the community.

Hoosier Pattern Pour

Pick up a $10 - cash only scratch mold to complete on your own and return by noon on June 7th, or participate in a workshop on June 7th from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 3 PM for $15 - cash only. Watch as trained staff pours hot iron into the molds at dusk on June 8th. Castings will be displayed on the east side of the courthouse sidewalk.
